Didnt know where to post this so hope I'm OK on this forum.
I am new to rowing. Have only done a couple of 30 minute pieces. Upload via log card and use the online log book. I find my results but they are not "ranked". I have a ranking ID number and as per the online logbook site I do not need a ranking verification code since it was logged via log card utility What do I need to do to qualify to have them ranked? Granted the results suck at this point but I'd like to see my name in lights so I can follow my progression vs other rowers in the online system. I do see results of others which are actually worse than mine are so how do get ranked?
Thanks
J

Thanks, Paul. Actually I rowed 30 minutes while watching a Xeno CD. I did pick just row. Did NOT pick a selected workout. Will do this later tonight or early AM. Hey maybe Ill break my mark by a couple of meters. Thanks again.bloomp wrote:How have you rowed the pieces? Have you just hit "Just row" and gone for 30 minutes? If so, you can't rank a piece like that. Set the monitor for 30 minutes by going into the created workouts and then row it and you'll be able to rank it.

Glad to help, I certainly hope you PR. Normally when you see the time ticking down, it motivates you better!drjay9051 wrote:Thanks, Paul. Actually I rowed 30 minutes while watching a Xeno CD. It is possible to hit exactly 30 minutes (have done it with 2000m) - and the Logbook doesn't mention what workout your doing. But the best way is like you say it, of course!bloomp wrote:How have you rowed the pieces? Have you just hit "Just row" and gone for 30 minutes? If so, you can't rank a piece like that. You have to pull the last stroke at 29:54.0 to get exactly to 30:00.0. The monitor runs for 6 seconds after the last stroke before stopping the clock.chgoss wrote:was it exactly 30:00.0 minutes? If it was, it should have automatically produced a "rank" link in the status column
There are two time outs. If the monitor hasn't detected a stroke it will time out after 2 minutes. If it has detected a stroke that time out becomes 4 mins.
With the monitor counting down a distance I usually get around 25m between the last stroke and the monitor deciding that I've stopped rowing (depending to some extent on pace/rate).
