HWT 70-74 WR 6:53.6

Post by Cyclingman1 » April 2nd, 2015, 2:49 pm

I just happened to notice that a new WR time for 2K, 70-74, HWt has been posted: James Castellan Hwt 70 USA 6:53.6 2015 Race result. That is a better result than Crash-B for Castellan. I figured some of you New Englander's would know the particulars of his new WR: where, when, etc. Of course Castellan has been one of the better age group rowers for quite a while. That is a record that looms for me next year, if I get in gear.

He rowed at the C-B with a spiral fracture of a leg bone. A very determined guy.

Yeah, but Crash-B time was 6:58.9. Just wondering the 6:53.6 came from?

I sent him a message of congratulations, so I may hear back from him about the event.
