Egg on my face

I repeated that 500m this afternoon and got it ranked and verified, only to find that a 94 yo had already beaten the heck out both of today's times. His time has not been listed in the WRs, but it was done this season and has a race designation, so it is just a matter of time before it makes th official list. I had visions of picking up the HWT 1k tomorrow, but I see that the same guy already has one entered that is well beyond my capability. I suppose that I should do it just to fill in my own list, but there is no strong motivation for that. I wonder why David Herring from Florida doesn't have a comparable 2k listed.
