Handicap?

I am not mainly an indoor competitor. I only use the ergs for training during the winter, but I do attend the Brigantine Greenhead Sprints annually and will be competing in the CRASH-B's next year if all goes well. This summer I suffered a rather crippling injury and underwent massive surgery to essentially save my arm. I have tried to find some kind of general information about whether or not there are handicap considerations in indoor rowing, but have been unsuccessful. I know that on-the-water races generally only consider amputees to be handicapped. If anyone has any information on this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
