), I want to both draw the US forum's attention to both the outstanding performances of the team and the generosity and hard work of the Concept 2 folks in Germany and the US.If anyone follows this they'd see that the US IRT Development system really works! The team that was selected took the highest honors on the banks of the River Elbe. Twelve people on the team and 8 golds plus everyone else in the money... (I've probably miscounted these medal standings)

Why am I posting on this subject? Well besides being an 'erg nut', I'd like to highlight the generosity of C2 in my home state of Vermont who makes all of this possible. World records and personal success stories continue to become part of Indoor Rowing lore!... I was thrilled to meet the team members in Dresden and see them perform. What a fantastic group of athletes. And, let me not neglect to emphasize the expertise of "C2 Lisa" and Larry Gluckman. These two respectively spearheaded the organization and training this year. There are many more behind the scenes too!
I hope the tradition continues with future teams. American Indoor rowing remains the pre-eminent force in the sport.
