Youth National Championships, Cincinnati

Post by JohnFlynn » June 15th, 2007, 11:33 pm

The youth national championships in cincinnati took place last weekend. Pacific Rowing Club took home gold in the V8 for the first time (my crew). I'm very proud of them, its been an inspirational year.

Here is a brief video of the win:

Congrats. The seniors from my school went and said that the Green Lake crew was enormous (like 6'4", 210+). My school didn't do so hot (9th in the V8 and 12th in the LTWT 8).

John, Watched the video. Looked like they were a full boat length ahead but wound up winning by 6 seats or so. Hard to tell through the thumbs and feet in the viewfinder. One happy cameraman for sure!
