Just wondering if anyone has rowed these and if they have, they could answer this question.

Is there a massive current there? At least at the 5th Manny Flick, I was looking at the results, St. Joes Prep top 8 pulle 3:50 for 1500m. I know Prep is good, but 3:50? Wow.

There was a fairly swift current there, I participated in the Frosh Novice 8 mens. The current wasnt amazingly fast, St. Joes just had a very good race.

i was there and it had rained the day before thus the river was flowing faster than normal. this definatly had and impact on times. my boat, despite getting much faster since that flick, has not been able to get the same time
