The Head of the Charles is sponsoring an erg challenge to raise money for a grant program. Here is a link: https://www.regattacentral.com/regatta/ ... 1&org_id=0. I haven't posted my 18:40.1 time yet, I think I can do better.
Here is an observation I made. In the Men's 70+ category (mine) there is a guy entered as unaffiliated by a name that, uh, shall go unmentioned. Any old timers on this forum will recognize the reference. It will be interesting to see what, if any, time he posts.

At least HOCR got his $10 for the grant fund.

Mark, the only lwts I recognized were you and me. I suppose there were others, but none of them were familiar to me. Anyway, I think you were 1st lwt and 3rd overall. Well done!
He-who-shall-not-be-named also DNS the Canadian Indoor on January 30. Next up, CRASH-Bs on Sunday.

I considered the CRASH-B this year but the tech setup was way beyond my current arrangement. Maybe next year they'll have it live again. Good luck to you if you're entered - show 'em what lightweights can do!
