Re: Row Series VII
So you can use any rower ?
Personally I couldn't be bothered entering a comp unless it pulled your Android or iOS only verified result out of your open concept 2 logbook so anyone could see it practically stroke by stroke.

Re: Row Series VII
I'm interested in participating, but (I just acquired my C2 Model D a couple of weeks ago) I don't understand the score-entry method. The rules say scores have to be taken from the monitor memory. I am logging workouts to the C2 logbook through Ergdata, but it sounds like that's probably not going to cut it for RowSeries.
What does it mean to take a score from the monitor memory?
Sorry for the very basic question, and thanks in advance!

Re: Row Series VII
What they mean is that you should enter the score as you see it on the monitor, it's that simple. It is preffered (but not mandatory) that you take a picture of the score on the monitor.jsarche wrote: ↑May 12th, 2020, 1:15 pmI'm interested in participating, but (I just acquired my C2 Model D a couple of weeks ago) I don't understand the score-entry method. That is why some people don't like to participate, the scoring relies on your honesty. Scoring is not verified via de concept2 online logbook and could be prone to fraud.

Re: Row Series VII
I'm low tech and have been recording my workouts into the C2 log by pen and paper -> computer from the PM3 memory for years. Never had a glitch with the software . For verification, if necessary, use the 16 digit number that is recorded when you review the workout in "memory" on the monitor. Honesty problem solved. For those folks who will be in the running for prizes in this series, they want photographic proof also.
Remember, these things are for fun, this ain't the Olympics, so relax and enjoy the competition, don't worry about the accuracy of the results. IMHO.

That's all I was looking for - guess I found the right place. Thanks!

Re: Row Series VII
Oof! I got eight intervals in to the workout and accidentally tapped "yes" when ergdata asked if I was finished. So frustrating...
I still went ahead and had a good workout, but will try again soon on the first Rowseries workout.

FYI, you don't have to tap it at all, as it restarts automatically when you start again.

Re: Row Series VII
That is great to know. Thank you! Any idea how long a rest period is too long? In other words, how long can I let it sit before it turns itself off or assumes I’m finished?Dangerscouse wrote: ↑May 14th, 2020, 5:30 am
