Mike after my experience last year just need to say that people should enter early if they want to go - it really does sell out when they get to 1800 and if people want to watch they need to buy a ticket too - my wife and (adult) daughter were unable to get in to watch on the day! They were pretty brutal and the velodrome was nowhere near full - it was very unpleasant.

After some deliberation I have taken the plunge and booked for the Masters 2k.

Training starts officially on Sunday, and unofficially tomorrow as I'll be doing a circuits class at 9am and I might try and squeeze a row in as well.
