If you have a look at the CTC page you'll find the list of different teams, and I assume that they are all contactable via Facebook or Instagram.

As for which one is right for you, there's no way of knowing other than gut feeling or if you know any current members?

Some teams operate on an invitation-only basis, but others are very open and welcoming. I'm lazy by nature, so I'll just pitch Forum Flyers as an open and welcoming one, and let some of the others weigh in if they feel like it. :)

Cheers

Yes particularly if you are not keen on FB and the like the Flyers are a good option - you just nominate "us" when you set up your profile - you need to go in a second time to confirm the password so don't be put off by a error message.
We have a long history and middle of the pack performance with reliable numbers and members from all over the world with a wide range of levels.
You would be most welcome to join us

All of us @ Forum Flyers have lats, deltoids, and biceps exactly like your avatar! And sore quads in every language on 5 continents and several islands. You’ll be a grand addition to the team! :P

You should also have a look at the CTC challenge as a Flyer - a useful and varied monthly challenge with 5 members per "boat" and a lot of variety
