How do you get race times verified and tagged?

I haved recently done both the Welsh IRC and British Rowing Indoors Championship 2K races and would like both times to be verified and tagged with Race in the C2 Logbook how do I get it done? Who is a good contact to email?

The organisers will send the results to C2 (prob UK) and they pass them on to US C2 who load them into the rankings as long as they are presented in a standard way I understand which I am sure won't be a problem at least with BRIC - takes a few weeks sometimes to appear.

Very often this does not happen, most eu races are not ranked, Bric will, if you want a racing tag, contact concept2 with your result and it will be solved.

Say it again, most results are not ranked, so the rankings are very incomplete.

My practice is to take a photo of my PM5 after I've finished my race, having pressed 'Display' to show the splits and then the 3rd button down twice to show the verification tag. I then put the verified result into the C2 log as my verified time when I get home. Sometimes this then get amended to 'Race' if C2 they get the race results, otherwise I email ranking@concept2.com (? not done this recently) to get it changed, sending them a link to the published results. At least you get a verified ranking result and an immediate record of your splits.

Of course if you're on the floor at the end of your race then you won't have a machine verified time but I think you should still be able to get it changed to 'Race' by contacting C2.
