I'm trying to set some goals for myself, and was wondering what is a competitive time for a 2k is for a 15 year old? By competitive, I mean "good enough" to compete in an event like the CRASH Bs.

My current 2k time is 7 mins 9 secs.

Thanks!
Already good enough, most important is to train seriously. In your teens you should very rapidly improve. Never a better time then now for you.
The very best already pull around 6 min at 16 and 5.4x at 18. Ofcourse not everybody matures as fast, but some do.

Anyone can compete in the Crashbs as there is no qualifying times - there were about 150 in both LWT and HWt Juniors (I think that is <17y or maybe 18?) - the hwts went to 6:00 and the lwt to 6:22. The "last" position was about 9:40 and 7:00 was pretty much in the middle of the pack. Your present time is good enough to compete so don't worry about that - just stick to training and the improvement will come as Henry as said.
