Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Thanks Dougie
I presume I won't be able to submit an entry for Paddy Power this month as I have already done so for Free Spirits? I'm struggling with lower back pain at the moment, so this may be a moot point in any event.

The rule is one entry per person per device (rower or skierg). If you swap teams you have to choose which one gets the workout in the month you change. I can delete your FS one if you want to use it for PP.

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Thanks Dougie. I appreciate the offer, but I think that using a row for Paddy Power that was done while I was a member of Free Spirits would be against the spirit of the CTC. However, if my back problems clear up before month end and I manage to do a halfway decent 10k, then I'll submit the time under a new name (probably PaulVictoryPP) and ask you to delete my previous effort.Citroen wrote:The rule is one entry per person per device (rower or skierg). I hope this is OK.

The July CTC has been chosen.CaseyClarke wrote:Sub 7 have chosen the July CTC. Basically we are taking the reps from our November 2014 challenge and jumbling up the order, so this will be:
555m / 111m / 444m / 777m / 333m / 222m / 666m - 70 seconds (1:10) rest between each interval.
Standing start for the first rep, subsequent reps as you like.
Record the time for the 3108m, not including rests.

I'm catching a plane for Vienna at 07:15 tomorrow to take part in a walk to Trieste over three weeks.

Updating tables on my mobile phone is too difficult so that will happen after my return on July 22nd.

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Hi, I am fairly new to the indoor rowing community and love challenges and competing. I recently discovered the C2C, but I don’t know if I can join a team or if I need to make my own? Is anyone looking for a team member? (I’m a 42yo HWT female, from Maryland.)
Thanks,
Michelle

Until you find a team (or a team finds you) you can sign up as a member of the "Independent" team.

Hi Michelle,
'Forum Flyers' are always on the lookout for ladies (that doesn't sound quite right!) to join in on the CTC and boost numbers generally.
We're an eclectic bunch from all over, with varying levels of ability with no particular emphasis on being the 'best', but we do like to get some virtual boats floated in the CTC

Done your new team is ready to go.
Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Dougie, is it possible for you to delete my July entry?
I omitted the 444 leg and the time I submitted is therefore false.
