What a great event! My first CRASH-B's ever! I first started on the erg about a year ago, and started with serious training about 4 months ago. I am thrilled with my PB of 7:25.8
40 year old male, HWT.
Had a great time, even though my legs and lungs don't agree, and I anticipate doing it again next year.
BTW, does anyone know if we can get our split times for the four 500m intervals of the race?
Regards,

You need your "row letter" and "race number" to replace the "A" and "13" above.

My first CRASH-B as well and in same category as you. Not sure which bank of ergs you were in, but here is the youtube of the side I was on shot by my coxswain. Having him standing there with that camera pointed at me helped squeeze the out a PB of 6:52.8 -- a 1/2 second improvement over my previous PB I set at the Erg Rodeo in Austin last week.Ron Hekier wrote:What a great event! I think this time was far more painful post race than Austin

To Bill Wakely, thanks for the information on obtaining our race data.

Great idea to have a cox film video.
I see you are in Beaumont. I'm in the farthest NorthEast corner of Texas, in Texarkana, but hopefully we can meet someday in a climate warmer than Boston in February
I was at a different bank, erg #77. Looking at the video I recognize you from the warm ups. I remember the bandanabadocter wrote:My first CRASH-B as well and in same category as you.
