Congratulations to SPU: Te Waka for another top finish on the leaderboard.
The Diamonds turned out 70 crews. That's just over half the total entry for February. Well done!
Forum Flyers have the challenge for June. Both Finnish teams, by completing at least three consecutive months of launching boats, have qualified for a challenge. Please get in touch with me, either on facebook or the C2 forum, if you wish to take up this option.
Future Challengers:
April - Team Diamonds
May - Norwegian Vikings
June - Forum Flyers

There are open lightweights (lowecase o) appearing as heavyweights (H) in the boats for some reason. It's not everyone, but myself (RowAlong) and maurice Robinson (Red Line) seem to be affected at least.

This is because you are seated on a heavyweight seat, as another lightweight is already seated in your boat with a faster time.
The letter in the boat shows the seat occupied, not your classification as light or heavyweight.

Thanks. Next mystery is the inconsistency of capitalisation of surnames.

Edit: Nevermind, resubmitting a faster score resets the surname appearance.

I added to the thread on the Facebook post and Fergus replied saying he would add The Chain Pullers to the team list. He did this but added us alongside ESPRIT on the same line. I posted again on the facebook thread twice about this, but no response, anyone on here be able to help fix this?

Odd! Doug Lawson chalks up a 6’ tookay on the new game and suddenly no Mr. Fixit banging on the boilers? Passing the spanner takes time. Got to be patient, folks. :D

You broke 7’ IIRC. Can’t imagine it would be that hard to generate an additional 500 watts 15-20 yrs. later. But yeah, I see it’s a prank.

The Faceplant crew are crying for their pup with loving cup to sort it. Are you still the night manager or not?

Correction: ~200W increase 7’ to 6’ result.

Hi CTC Admin Team,

Firstly, awesome job on the new CTC site. Me and my teammates (Red Line Rowers) are really impressed in particular with how easy it is to add an entry. No more endless scrolling if your username happens to begin with something lower down the alphabet. No "password incorrect". It's so easy now to add an entry on a device like an iPhone. Etc., etc. Thank you :D

And now for the "but" ...

Are there any plans to add the functionality from the old site whereby you can see partially filled boats as well as full boats? Me and the RLR admin team found it really useful on the old site, as it clearly showed what the team needed to do to float another boat, which meant we could better chivvy along our team members to HTFU and get the CTC done. So if it could be re-introduced, that would be spectacular.

If there are already plans afoot to do this, then I'm sure you'll have no problem ignoring the above request.

Thanks again.

Cheers,
George

Based on some FB chatting I think it will come up next weeks. Found it helpful, too, and agree fully to what you've written about logging a result 👌🏻

Here is Team Diamonds choice for April's CTC:
The Baker's Dozen
13 x 1min reps with 1min rest/light rowing between each.
Like a loaf of bread, the best will rise and the rest will crumble.
Record your distance for the 13 mins. of rowing. No restrictions.

Just to clarify, is the light rowing compulsory or are drinks allowed?
