WOW!!

This month's challenge is looking more like a mathbowl challenge rather than an erging challenge. Why not row in fibbonacci increments til infinity?

Or maybe just the distance in meters based on the amount of grams of cheese you can eat during your 10K time? :D

Ideas (if you are one psycho son of a gun)

-large McDonalds milk shake + 35SPM = longest time without vomiting wins

-One footed 2k

- See how long you can balance on the seat standing on one foot...erg that time and the most meters wins

:D :D :D

well,
i cant stand on the erg....

i cant row with one foot,
and vomitting mcdonalds milk shakes, well its against my
organic vegan lifestyle...

the math challenge i flunked in gr 9,
what does that leave me with?

on an erg, without a leg to stand on,
counting my lucky stars
that i'm merely physically and mentally challenged
by this whole competition.

what exactly was/is the outcome of this competition?
what are you rowing?

An aching butt, that's the outcome. I opted for 10K/day (avg), which is a continuation of what I did for the JVC, which was a big stretch for me. And for some reason now I've decided to keep that going through Lent. What the hell am I thinking.

Lent! Ah, that would be a great excuse. I can stop erging for lent!

How about a Beer 2K! Similar to a Beer Mile.

At the completion of each 500M, you must consume one 12 ounce beer including after the last 500M. Lowest time wins!

The World Record for the Running Beer Mile is 5:40

Maybe we could even get C2 to add it as a new category to the rankings!

I like the way you think! But I'm really more of an endurance drinker. What's the next rankable distance? 5K might be pushing it for me in a co-ed competition, though I'm certain I'd take the women's title. B)

I blew my February goal, I'm sad to say. One stupid maneuver with the snowshovel, and it was Ciao, Challenge. I'm pretty sure I'll be back in the saddle tomorrow, so I'm confident a 400K Lent is within my grasp, but I'm really disheartened at biffing Feb. :(
