The holiday challenge brings out a mass of people just trying to reach an individual goal. Being super competitive and wondering warily if the person in front of them is cheating really isn't their mindset, that's what I believe anyway. ...".
Nice job rowing 1M. Wow. Wish we had +1 or thumbs up buttons. (Not missing the thumbs down ones tho)

Glad affiliate rankings are displayed. I spent all of my "look at the people ahead of you" time looking at the other members of my club.

p.s. The filter options let you spy on who did what workout what day -- saving you from needed to save a copy of yesterday to see who rowed today and how far.

p.p.s Glad Concept would rather send a pin to a cheater than call out someone and ask them to verify or explain results on holiday challenge. Seems much more civilized. People rowing at centers where they take a photo of the final screen and then data enter can do it a lot more easily by not worrying about the codes that aren't avail for all workouts. And someone who wants to cheat can always cheat (e.g. just leave their phone linked to a rower in a gym and collect km from everyone).

I agree better to encourage than shame.

Yes, it's a "Challenge" after all not a "Competition". That is a better vehicle to get people to ERGO and to get involved and healthier. It's not a Competition. It's about personal challenge and community. Some of the top people on the "leader board" stop as soon as the charity goal is reached also...

And yes, some of the top people are disabled. I'm not sure of all of the parameters for that. But suffice to say what they do is an inspiration.
