Nice to see you on here. I still race with Mary and Joan out in Long Beach. Just did a Bay Series out there in December with Mary in a quad. She and Joan are still going strong; both continue to be impressive role models on the erg!

Hi James,
Each team is comprised of 4 rowers, at least 2 of the rowers need to be female. The race is age handicapped using the US Rowing handicap per 1,000m. All 4 rowers compete at the same time. All four machines are connected to make one "boat". The average time of the 4 rowers dictates the boat speed. I wish I could tell you the definite time of the winning team from last year, but as we ran the team races on a separate computer, the person running the race recorded the times manually and didn't think that we needed to keep them after awarding the erg. A local Crossfit gym left with the brand new erg last year. I believe the winning time was between 3:20-3:25.
We will not lose the results this year.

Four days until the first races are run for the second annual Denver Indoor Rowing Championships (DIRC)! Are you registered?
We have added a Stand Up Paddle (SUP) race for our fellow water lovers!
Denver University has approved a new club...rowing; they will be debuting at the DIRC. Always great to have another rowing program in Colorado!
