Dwayne Adams race result!
Does this provide hope for worldwide peace?
Chad's apology and his reconciliation with Dwayne reminds me of Rocky's quote from #4, "I guess what I'm trying to say is, if I can change, and you can change, everybody can change."
Could world peace break out soon?

Glad to hear you are now ready to join those of us whoHands up and hats off. It looks like Dwayne Adams did row a sub 5.50 at the Arizona race.
Well done to you Dwayne, I apologise for my comment in this thread saying that you are a fake.
As I said before, it is not so sad to be part of this group, is it?believe he is for real.
Maybe you did come back to give us the warm fuzzies after all!

Where did Foy's quote come from? Another thread? Another forum? If it was on this thread, it has apparently been edited out.PaulS wrote:Now that seems a bit provacative, Mr. Foy. :twisted:John Foy wrote:What do you think about that hjs, you freak?

Chad, what investigations did you make, and answers did you get that convinced you that Dwayne's Arizona result is genuine? I ask because I'm surprised you've been convinced while others such as hjs and stupefaction steadfastly refuse to accept any possibility of it having been so; in stupefaction's case, despite copious "investigating" of his own.
Whilst I retain my upset the tone and manner of your attack last year, you have my respect for having the balls to publicly apologise.

Especially after I was standing with you on the "freak" bit. (hjs is a friend of a friend, so he'll take it okay)

Once in a while, I browse through a few items on the UK C2 forum. I can no longer reply to the messages there, since I deliberately created a password that I cannot repeat. I did this to stop myself from spending far too much time on that forum and the ploy has worked quite well. However, there was one item that I just can't let pass by.
A UK forumite from Austria, who uses the name H2O on his messages, made the following comment:
Bob S., who also lives in an arid zone.

I have nothing to say about the main controversy, i.e. the legitimacy of the 2k time, but I would certainly agree that the rowing community of Arizona certainly has a major shortcoming and that particular correspondent's forum name says it all.The only thing we can say is: if there is no reaction to a time of 5:47 the rowing community in Arizona has some serious shortcomings.

It does indeed seem strange, but I made plans to have a friend who lives in Phoenix pass by on the day of the event on the off chance that Dwayne would attend and row. Dwayne had made a comment that he would row in an event to silence his critics so I assumed it would take place at his own event (if it was indeed ever going to happen).
It was confirmed to me that Dwayne did row at the event and that it happened as Dwayne had posted it; he rowed with the juniors early on in the day and rowed a 5:47.
I still would like to see Dwayne race in a satellite event, or even better at WiRC
