Why did the rowers at the EIRC get no RACE result?

Post by Wiecher » February 25th, 2007, 6:08 pm

I don't understand why the EIRC racers did not get a race result. Maybe it is a to small race?
At the german championships no one did get a race result either. My question is what is the ranking worth when even the big races in Europe doesn't get a race result?

Not sure what you mean by this. Results for EIRC were posted on the C2 UK site, yes?

Mark,

One might expect that the resulta are reported by the organisers to C2 who then validate them with a RACE designation.

I got a pb at EIRC but had to rank it myself in the same way as reporting a time done at home.

Regards,

Joe

Joe:

Ahhh ... now I understand what he meant - the "RACE" categorization. Interesting. Since this is my first year competing at the more national events, was this something that was regularly done in the past? I did have my BIRC row ranked automatically, which was interesting, as they ranked me as a Brit, and now that I've bettered that row, I have two ranking entries!
