Surely this will be the new world record?

Congratulations, again.

Thanks Carla and Mike.

And many thanks to all of you from the other thread.

Unfortunately, this will not count as a world record. The Arizona Indoors are not a sanctioned event yet. So even though it's a fast time, it's just that, a fast time.

And before anyone asks about Boston, I won't be there. During the course of all the training and the race, I've royally messed up my back (four disk issues, one herniated). I had one cortizone injection about two weeks before this race, and have had one since. I'm lucky, at this point, if I can maintain a 2:05 split for any length of time.

Now...there is one person in particular that needs to do some apologizing.

Oh Chad..........
Row hard, row well.

That's a very hot time there Dwayne.
Well done mate!!!
Some of us competitive 40 something year olds are going to hate you for it but that's the nature of the sport. I don't think anyone will get near that time soon.

Andreas would be in Boston now probably unware of your race result and looking for a top 3 finish there. Chad's likely to be still locked up but no doubt will be accusing you of drug taking, monitor tampering or something else absurb when he gets out.

Looking forward to your next conquest Dwayne.

Caution: Static C2 ergs can ruin your technique and timing for rowing in a boat.
The best thing I ever did to improve my rowing was to sell my C2 and get a Rowperfect.

Strange race

Post by Wiecher » February 27th, 2007, 10:16 am

Sorry Dwayne, I saw at the brittan site of C2 that no one but yourself saw your dispay while racing? Was there a screen?
You did participate in a race which I could organise at home....I do not think that is a real race.
The I ask myself, are the people in Arizona not interested in man like you rowing that fast? Why did no one want to see your race?
I hope to see you row that result in a big race.

I'm a little confused by your post. Dwayne's reported result was in the Third Annual Arizona Indoor Rowing Championships, which I understand had 85 or so participants. You may want to post on the UK site if you're responding to something you read there...

I don't think they have internet access where he is, though. Something about a bad temper or needing anger management training or something. Who woulda thunk it?

Nice job, Dwayne.

More Bullshit!!

Race data? IND_V? Video? Still Pictures, C2 conformation? Race replays? Lots of witnesses?

Let me guess, none of this is available, so nothing has changed, I am still right, Dwayne is a fake.

It’s great to be back.

John, thank you.
C.V conditioning is very poor at the moment; I have however but on 10Lbs of muscle through an extensive weights program, I will be slowly working on improving my C.V fitness levels over the coming months.
