Andreas--

Check out "A Unscheduled Break" thread under "General."

In response to a question on the UK Forum, Dwayne said he would race this season. He didn't say when or where.

Thanx Tom
I have not been active on the forum lately, so I missed that.
I was really hoping to meet, at least Chad, at BIRC
I suppose the 40+HW world record is then save for the moment

Hi Paul
I was always sitting on the sideline"watching" the play between Chad and Dwayne.Didnt predict or claim anything.
What I can say is that I'm better prepared than previous years(did not partake in the anual canoe race this year at the end of Sept).
Hope to get close to Andy Ripley's Champions record though
Will I see you there???
Also hope to meet people from the forum(I would realy appreciate it if the people that recognise me ,will introduce them to me) :!:
We are 3 guys from South Africa this year and staying in the Crown Plaza

I won't be at BIRC, though I do plan on being at WIRC as a vendor again.

If you are better prepared than previously, the competition has quite a bit to worry about, try not to break the chain. :D

You were a big guy when we met, but taking up the space of "3 guys" now?

For anyone that wants to meet Andreas, just go up and meet him, he's a nice guy, he just looks like he might hurt you.

Andreas is a really nice guy, and though he's pretty big, doesn't look all that intimidating. In fact, compared to some of the guys who have been in his category (like John Dixon or Jurgen Schwab), he looks downright cuddly!

Andreas -- best of luck at BIRC! Hope to see you again in Boston for CRASH-B.

Have a look at http://www.concept2.co.uk/forum/viewforum.php?f=2 there's loads of stuff on that forum about the Brits (and others) who are going to BIRC.

Thanx Mike for responding. The written word is very unforgiving when it comes to emotion and people eazaly get the wrong idee about somebody else( I include myself here)
I think my wife and kids will agree with your discription of "cuddly", so I take it as a complement.

It was very nice talking to you in Boston and it is very obvious, altough I only talk to you for a short time, that you earn respect where ever you go. To be able to achieve what you did, is DOWNRIGHT remarkable.

Doughy: I thank you for the foto. I certainly will look out for you guys.Have met Cathy before. We met on the way to the NIA 2 years ago.
If I remember correctly, she won gold

Looking forward to meet more peolpe that seem crazy to other peolpe who dont know anything about Indoor Rowing

Hallo Mike,

coming back from a hard outdoor season, I have to read your description of me. What would you recommend: Some other pants or some rouge on my cheeks?

All the best to Andreas for the BIRC!

The race is on for Boston 2007!

Hi Jürgen!

It's the haircut that always scared me! I hope I'll get to meet you in Boston next year, and I'm sure I'll think as well of you as I do of Andreas. I bet the race in the Senior HW men's group will be another great one. I still believe that is the most competitive category in indoor rowing. Train hard!

Best wishes,

Mike Caviston
