West Wales IR Competition
For those in the UK into in-person racing, you may like to know about this event being held next year as there seem to be so few about these days. Its on Faceborg apparently.

Thanks Mike, if it wasn't so remote (circa four hours + drive), I'd consider it, but I'm too lazy to bother getting up at 3am to get there.

Oh b****r. How did they manage to choose the same day as Hamburg ergo half-marathon. Not sure which is the easiest to travel to - but hey ho, (having tried to figure out how I can get to Limerick and back for the Irish in November and not leave mum for more than 1 night I havent done any other planning yet).

You'd need to fly to Shannon Airport (SNN), that's just down the road (25.2Km) from Limerick. Two Pudding Kid wrote: ↑October 22nd, 2024, 4:49 pmhaving tried to figure out how I can get to Limerick and back for the Irish in November

You should try the Irish railways to get from Limerick to Dublin. That's 125Km and takes about 2 hours.
