If that's possible, then yes, I'd say that would be enough.

You may need warm-down machines for folks to use after they've raced. That makes it twice the number of race ergos.

The important thing is that none of the racers in the next race can't warm-up - so at least one per race machine.

The hardest part with running regional races was getting the ergos (from C2 in Nottingham) into a van and driving that back down the motorway, that had the real limit on number of machines I could carry down to Basingstoke for my races.

It was before ISS took over from Concept2 UK. I think it was 2008 when I ran the last race.

Cheers Guys

Good thing is we have the machines sorted.

Will go with double the Race ergos and any more that we can find will be a bonus. There will also be spin bikes and a Crossfit gym to warm down in

Regional Race coming up :)

What am I doing!!!!!!!!

Does depend on the distance. Less required for 5k+, more for 500-.
56, lightweight in pace and by gravity. Currently training 3-4 times a week after a break to slowly regain the pitiful fitness I achieved a few years ago. Free Spirit, come join us http://www.freespiritsrowing.com/forum/

You are definitely right, but I personally like to do a specific warmup for the sport and it's motion. I would definitely prefer a rowErg to warmup at a competition.

I like the sound of a live race. Will do my best to be there if it is a minimum of a mile, preferably more. Might be able to rattle up some ergo buddies if in reachable distance from Birmingham - a group of about 15 of us went to the recent Rainhill Trials.

Hi, I was wondering if there is any details of when and when the indoor rowing competition talked about here is planned?
