Lightweight and heavyweight rankings

Post by Scoop99 » November 1st, 2023, 11:41 pm

Hi, I fluctuate between light and heavyweight.
I recently competed at the Australian indoor as a lightweight (74.9kg at weigh in!!) and wanted to rank my times in Concept2's lightweight section while keeping my better heavyweight times in the heavyweight section. It let me do that for the 500m ... but when I try to do it for the 1K it won't let me. As soon as I rank the lightweight, it unranks the heavyweight time, and vice versa.
Does anyone know anything about this?
Cheers

Could it be that your lwt 1k time is faster than your hwt 1k time? (just guessing)
I run in the mud, I sweat on the erg, and I happily battle the years...

One of them will be the faster time for sure, but that shouldn't matter, as both are ranked in different sections/categories.

I would reach out to C2 and ask for it.

Would it not simply be your profile which is either lwt or hwt, can't be both.

"Would it not simply be your profile which is either lwt or hwt, can't be both."

If it had stopped me doing both in the 500m that's what i would have presumed. But it let me do light and heavy for the 500m and not the 1k.
Also, both my lightweight times were slower than my heavyweight times.
