Royal Canadian Henley Regatta in August - To go or not?

Post by Bob Evans » February 28th, 2023, 10:35 am

I'm considering attending as a spectator this summer. If anyone has been there either as a participant or a visitor, can you recommend going or is it really not worth it? I've really enjoyed watching the Henley Royal Regatta in the UK via streaming but I'm not likely to ever get there. The Canadian regatta might reasonably fit the bill and is possible for me to get there. I appreciate your opinion on attending for a day or two. Thanks.

Sort of depends what you like to do.

Suggest you watch a local regatta near you. See if it is fun. Then decide.

If you post a location people may be able to suggest local regattas.

Regatta Central ( https://www.regattacentral.com/ ) will have many local regattas, so is another way to find out locations. It misses some of the major regattas because they are managed locally, and some of the smaller regattas.
