Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Congratulations to Sub7 for winning the final challenge of this CTC season and also floating the largest number of boats last month.
Well done MAD team for producing some great performances over the year and finishing on top of the leaderboard in the 2019-20 season.
Free Spirits have the June challenge, #TokyRow July and Forum Flyers August.
Regards,
Joe

One of your "ancient" members has tempted some of us in as newbies (to the c2ctc). We want to enter a team but as a new member of the forum I can't send PM request. Advice appreciated!
Ex rugby player. Now I golf (any course), row (Concept 2) and cycle (Wattbike and on the road).

The usual thing is to join an existing team. If you don't have a team the "Independent" team is open to anyone.duffinvestor wrote: ↑May 8th, 2020, 7:43 amOne of your "ancient" members has tempted some of us in as newbies (to the c2ctc). A team needs at least five like minded rowers (including a LWT and a lady) or you'll never be able to float a boat.

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
I am mildly curious why my wife and I both have/had what appear to be ‘redo’ entries in May CTC. These appeared in the recent entries top of page, rower ID in blue ink, italicized and would be quite normal and expected IF we had in fact redone the challenge and IF we had submitted revised results. In both cases, the stats line (distance-pace-power) is identical to the original submission entered a few days to a week prior to the ghost submission.

All I can see is
We've had stange results from iPhone users when they get a Safari browser failure.
As long as the scores are OK, I don't care about what time they're entered when it's the middle of the month.
Code: Select all
Result; Userid; Challenge; Score; Date; Status
"72928"; "6458"; "187"; "279"; "2020-05-15 14:55:53"; "UPDATED"
"73056"; "6849"; "187"; "212"; "2020-05-18 02:40:05"; "UPDATED"

There is no evidence besides I sez, she sez. The five most recent scores are ephemeral as replaced by others more recent than most. Wife enters from Chrome on pc; I use Safari browser on iPad. Meter totals from the excerpted spreadsht are both correct. The timestamps on both records are not the dates of original submission which in both cases same date as row record in logbk. Wife sez she did challenge 15 May and submitted to CTC same date. Same result re-entered on 17th and again today 18 May. Digimouse is apparently still active. However, no harm no foul. Thanx for taking a look.
