Odd that military format (31 AUG 2019) is so little used considering the elimination of ambiguity by simple progression from short to long, clear distinction at a glance of numeric representation of dd from alphabetic representation of mmm. And no busywork with dots, dashes, slashes, commas.
There are 12 days per yr on which Brits and Yanks produce precisely the same notation using different formats and 11 days per month of possible confusion. Have a glorious 0208, 0802, 2 August or ???????? of your choosing.
Those of us who would like their computers to sort things in date order tend to use the ISO/JIS date standard which is YYYY-MM-DD and works on a simple character sort in ASCII, EBCDIC and Unicode.
Curiously, the month and day portion of ISO/JIS matches the month and day of the very silly American back to front method.

mm dd yyyy is an unnatural progression similar to Planet Earth, Solar System, British Empire, Milky Way Galaxy. [vide: “sun never sets on . . .] 20190802 is easily scanned by those who play noughts and crosses absent the room dividers.

You can register directly on the C2CTC site (there are apparently some confusing messages about incorrect passwords, but just persist through). Either choose the Independents team if you don't want to join a team, or sign up for the Forum Flyers who are a welcoming bunch. Team thread over
here.
Cheers

Please can you delete the entry for KATIE Metalli (Fitness Matters) - it was entered in error - the #TokyRow one for KATE is correct - thanks

BW Rowing won their first challenge of the new season. Congratulations! It looks quite tight at the head of the leaderboard.
Sub7 produced sixteen boats which helped them win the nomination for December. AIRC choose for October and CUS Bergamo for November.
Regards,
Joe

Hello all, I'm new to the CTC and don't have a team. Just did the Sept challenge with a time of 16:41.7. (Needs a password reset in order to post the details).
Wondering how the team aspect of the challenges are done. Are you 'recruited' or do you select a team that you see fit?

Some teams allow self selection. Some have a forum thread on here, some require you to belong to the Faceborg.
If you can't find a team there's the independents.
I can 100% guarantee that Forum Flyers will welcome you to their team as soon as they see your post.
To reset a password I need to know what ID you've attempted to register on the c2ctc.com website.
