CIRC 2018 - Canadian Indoor Rowing Championship - Feb 4 2018
I'm driving down to Mississauga from Montreal on the 3rd to compete in the 40-49 Men's open and the "Go the Distance" 4 Min charity fun race. I can't wait to do this!
Is there anyone here in the forum who also will be attending?

Hi Lance. I normally race here (and won last year) but not racing this year. I haven't got back into race shape after shoulder surgery in September. The two Hanlan guys will be the ones to watch. Other than Mr Robson, I don't know the others. Good luck!

Thanks David! I've seen your performances looking back at the past results. All you guys have pulled impressive times over the years. I don't expect to be competitive at the race, but I am eager to just give it a try and be part of the scene.Tinpusher wrote:Hi Lance. In reality, this competition will round out my first year on the erg. I did my first 2K test in Jan 2017 (9:32). Now, after 12 months I can routinely pull a 7:05 to 7:10 without to much suffering. Going "sub 7" at CIRC 2018 was my goal but realistically I'm just hoping to match my PB on race day. So excited!

If you're not suffering too much, you're very capable of sub-7 with a bit of suffering.

Thanks @ Edward and David
It was very memorable indeed.... took a few days off and now it's back to work with an uptempo 30 minute piece. I've got to improve those middle distance PB's !
