Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Steve Berridge of Red Line Rowers has posted the November CTC:
"Apologies if the November selection by Red Line Rowers is less adventurous than some but after recent controversies we thought we would avoid a ranking piece or something too “niche” and so have selected a popular 2k training piece, AKA the Red Line Rev Up. For the forthcoming 2k race season, 4 x 750 (3r). First rep static start, subsequent ones from a rolling start and no rate restrictions, enjoy !!"

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Well done MAD for winning the October Challenge after a close, high quality contest. Sub7, with twenty boats, just pipped FIRT as having the most boats launched on the virtual river.
FIRT will set December's Challenge; RC Mantova is nominated for January. As a new club with more than three continuous months of launching at least one boat, Isenhurst has applied for and has been awarded the challenge for February.
Regards,
Joe

Re: New Team
Is that on http://C2CTC.com or on https://log.concept2.com/team
Re: New Team
initially I meant this http://C2CTC.com
If I start one myself in this https://log.concept2.com/team does it transfer automatically to the above, i assume not? If not, the one above and I'll sort the one on https://log.concept2.com/team myself.

Re: New Team
Ok. Your team is good to go.
Re: New Team
Out of interest, would it automatically add a number I, II III if there were more people than a boat or is that via request?

Re: New Team
It's automatic. As you fill the boats with up to 5 individuals, new boats get created automatically. When a boat has an eligible combo (max 3 heavyweight men, at least 1 lightweight, at least 1 woman) it "floats", i.e. joins the point scoring boats on the list. The other boats sit on the dock waiting for the necessary missing people to join (these are the boats I'm normally in).
Cheers
Dave
