I'll add that one in. I'll also reset your password and let you know the new one.1anca wrote:Hi, I tried to post my results for february challenge several times today before midnight here in Canada. It is currently 21:19 and still can't post. User is Anca for FitnessMatters. I have managed 3269m.

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Another close competition in February's CTC saw a return of Fitness Matters to the top spot. Congratulations!
Sub7, with nineteen boats, had the greatest participation. Well done!
BW Rowing, as a new team with three consecutive entries, has claimed the June Challenge. CUS Bergamo and Olimpic Barcelona also have the right to a challenge but must contact me to trigger this.
The April challenge is Sub7's, May belongs to Age Without Limit and June to BW Rowing.
Regards,
Joe

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Learned of this thoughtful tribute today (first time visiting CTC in many months), so a bit late to this thread.lindsayh wrote:viewtopic.php?f=7&t=153937CTC March 2017.
The Bob Spenger Memorial 5142.
In memory of the late Bob Spenger, who sadly passed away earlier this year the March 2017 CTC will be a single row of 5,142m.
Whilst his slew of competition victories and 38 current world records (including all distances and times from 500m through to a full marathon) are testament to his achievements on the erg, this challenge also recognises his huge contribution to the world of indoor rowing, with 5,142 being the number of posts Bob made to the current iteration of the Concept2 Forum.
Please record your time taken to row 5,142m as a single piece from a standing start.
I was certainly saddened when I learned of Bob's passing some weeks ago. What a terrific way to honor Bob's tremendous contribution to the world of rowing and erging. Well done, Lindsayh and the Forum Flyers.

I echo your words Damien, it was a good recognition of his contribution. Made sure of rowing this month to honour Bob and would like to row it again but the month seems to be rushing by.
I see you had another attempt Henry, nice.

Yes, combined the series and ctc in one. Not optimal but has to do this way.
Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Henry, this new age group suits me and the last couple of months have been niggle free thank goodness.
Series? I'm afraid I've lost track a little since the other forum closed. I'll keep touch on here a little more often if I can.

Hi Shirley - good to hear from you don't forget the FF thread as well viewtopic.php?f=29&t=75382&start=855 you will see old mate Allan and Todd are there a bit - Big Al is back. you should at least say gidday there. The "series" is the old indoor rowers league resurrected by the French and adding a team event and an age adjustment.rowmyboat wrote:Henry, this new age group suits me and the last couple of months have been niggle free thank goodness.

I also am a new born age grouper now, posted that 10k as my first piece, but raced already this winter in the 50+ cat.
