Anyone changing teams should register again under a different user name. If this is not done, there is a glitch in the CTC program that assigns all earlier rows to the new team and changes historical data. This is particularly important in this case as MAD and Sub7 are founder members of the CTC.

It's OK. Larry has two names "Laurence Wells(S7)" and "Laurence Wells(MAD)" defined on the site. His incredible 1K is logged on his MAD id.

The teamless folks can always join the "Independent" team.

Definitely Flyers. In a building period now. Lots of interest. You'll love it!

Just found the CTC, and love the idea! Wondering if I could get an Emergency Services team added? (Maybe with the name "Code 3"). If it's possible, then I'll post up on the forum at large, and see if I can get some fellow Firefighters/EMTs/Police Officers to sign on, or defect from other teams, as the case may be... :D

Don't need your logo.

Your "Code 3" team is ready to go.

Hello, this is Polaco, coming from the past..... well lately I've been involved in an OTW club here in Barcelona so unfortunately not to much time for virtual rowing clubs.

Well the thing is that now I'm encouraging people from my club to take part in Erg challenges starting with the C2 Holiday Challenge, I would like to continue from January with the C2ctc challenges but I will need the club to be listed. The name of the club is Olimpic Barcelona Rowing Club.

Can you help me Dougie?
Best Regards!!

Hi Polaco, long time mate. I just noticed we joined this forum on the same day.

Your new Olimpic Barcelona team is ready to row.

FIRT have chosen 30/40/50/60/50/40/30 seconds, with equal rest after a rep, so 30/40/50 ... etc. for December

We don't need the 30 seconds rest after the last interval to count do we? Planning to have a go at this on Friday.

The challenge is distance for the bits rowed (total five minutes) so the last 30 seconds rest is irrelevant.

Hi Citroen,

Just out of curiosity, do you have access to the original dates? March 16 of 2006 is the current joining date listed for all of us the belonged before the big change was made in the forum.

Side note: While I was at it, I looked back at some early posts by Polaco and ran across the old Chad/Dwayne flare-up. Fascinating to see those 10 year old posts from the members that were on the forum in those days, John Rupp, Carla Stein, Tyn (with his weird jumping avatar), Nosmo, Ancho, and many others.

Regards,

Bob Spenger

Ah, I'd forgotten about that original badly hacked pile of steaming stuff that came before this forum.

I don't think any of the membership stuff survived the "Big Rebuild".

Ten years is just less than 1/5th of my lifetime and 1/9th of your's.
