It was fun to meet you today in Boston, and congrats on your 5th place!! I saw "Ducks in A Row" in the seedings and tried to see you in your race but missed it somehow. Great job and I hope you do it next year too!

Hi Carla,
It was nice meeting you, too. It's a good thing you were wearing your Taff Attack all in one. Was your 7:25.5 a PB?
Now that erging season is over I am looking forward to getting on my bike. Are you planning on doing any rides this year?

Yes! It was a PB!! Hurray! Only by 2 seconds, but 2 seconds are 2 seconds. It is almost funny to think of the hours I trained, the schedule I put up with, the stress and the lack of sleep, to improve by 2 seconds.
I am going to continue training through May 1 to finish off all the Nonathlon pieces and as the weather beckons I'm sure my bike will seduce me like it does every spring. First weekend in June I have a weekend bike trip--fun, easy, social weekend--and in July I will do a charity century so will have to build up the endurance for that.
I can't remember where you live. Are you any where near MA? Maybe we could bike together.

I live in the Seattle area. Gregory and I are considering doing the Seattle to Portland this year. It's 200 miles and we would ride it two days.
We hope to go back to Boston next year.
I also have to finish my nonathlon scores. I am hoping to do a marathon in April.

200 miles in 2 days. Ouch. So far my limit is 100 miles in one day.
Maybe we can do the marathon "together" because I plan to do it in April, too.
