me and my friend are tring to make in a doble to the youth natioanal invitaional it both our frist year competeing but we been around the sport for years were female each 15 5'9 im Hw my friends Ltwt we have a few monthes and are training outside of our regular practice on our team were both sub 8 and have been droping our times rapidly i was wondering if any one had any workout ideas
I think you should talk with your current coach and tell him/her that you want to do some additional workouts. Your coach is going to know better what will complement your current training than any of us yahoo's on the internet are going to. We don't know things like how much you are already training, or where your strengths and weaknesses are. Since you are clearly aiming for "elite level" rowing, I think some "expert" advice is needed. There are some experts like PaulS and Xeno around who may be able to help, but someone who works with you closely and has intimate details of these and other things will serve you far better. If you can't get the kind of advice from your coach that you are looking for then, post some details like the ones I mentioned and more, and maybe folks can help, or at least maybe help find you more local resources.
