One half of the million meters

Post by LandLocked » June 24th, 2006, 9:57 pm

Today I just crossed (barely, but did cross) the 500,000 meter mark. I got my rower in February 2005 and have been slowly rowing ever since. I just might make the million meters in under 3 years.

Just for the record my last row this afternoon was for 20 min and I went 2383 meters making for a pace of 04:11.8. Yep I’m really slow, but I haven’t stopped so I’m pleased with myself.

Hey, Landlocked!

Way to go!! Progress is progress, and remember the story about the Tortoise and the Hare. :D

What kind of goals do you have for yourself with your rowing?

Congratulations, Landlocked on hitting the 500,000 mark. I think the most important thing is that you have stuck with it. I think you will find that gradually you can go a minute or two longer and row a couple more meters. You can even set those as goals - to row one minute longer each week or something like that. Anyhow, you are doing great. Keep up the erging :)

I also want to give you a big pat on the back.
