Hi Carole!

What a great idea. I do miss the duck pond a bit! What are all of the ducks up to? I'm starting a search for my first house or condo. Very scary experience. Also starting to walk on a regular basis with a coworker. Things are mostly good here. Hope all is well on the duck pond!

Nice of you to pop in Carole. Lots more ducks bobbin to the surface around here. I'm almost at 3MM, can't wait. It was a pain getting those meters in this week, so I'm sticking up my feathers for a little parade.

Hey Snappy!!

Great to hear that you are looking for a new living situation!! Exciting, but a little scary! I've started doing much more walking now too, since we got a little puppy who is full of energy!!

:D I met my goal of finishing my 3MM by Easter! A slow day, but added a short sprint at the end to finish with style.

And I met my goal of my first 10,000 meters by Easter. *snicker*

Hey, I'm slow but steady. And getting faster.

Remember the turtle and the hare! It works for me.

There's something appealing about those round numbers too...

I didn't have an Easter goal, but I did have an awesome (for me) day today. I did a 20 minute row (working my way to 30 min.) and got in 3700+ meters. That's the farthest I've gone so far. Some day I'll sit down and just see how long I can go. Though that's not realistic until the carpet-monkeys-gone-wild are old enough to not beg for something every 15 minutes, I estimate about 24 more years! LOL

Hey Shannon!

Good to hear from you again Shannon! Been busy, still doing the two jobs, although the "real" one is full time so i'm now able to look for housing.

As for rowing, I'm going slowly, but am closing on my first 500,000. Maybe one of these days I'll hit my million meters!

Carole, glad to hear that you are going to give RowPro a try! Of course the only time I will actually see you online is at the start and then again at the end, while you wait for me to hurry up and finish!!! You are seriously speedy  !

Great job on the weight loss too! Seventeen pounds in two months is awesome!

Way to go Carole! That's a great weight loss. I'm still struggling. I just don't have much self control with food. I was so much better when I had my own *** DELETE - SPAM ***. Maybe if this house hunt would go faster I'd get back on track. Still no luck on the house hunt, and can I just say that mortgage apps are awful! ;) Anyway, set a goal. I'm at 150-152 right now (depends on the day), and when I get to 145 I can buy a whole new outfit from an expensive catalog that I love to gawk at. Hoping that'll be in time for the vacation in July! :)

Shannon, what kind of puppy did you get? You've been doing well btw! :)

Hi Snappy,

The puppy is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. He's cute and full of mischief!

I hope the house hunting finally comes to an end soon. You have been in transition so long it must be almost a way of life for you!!

Great idea to set a weight loss goal. You don't have far to go at all really. Could be worse... I had to get almost a whole new wardrobe because all my clothes were way too big after I lost all that weight. Clothes shopping is so much more fun when you are at a decent weight!

Hey Ducks,

You have a brand new member today, my good friend and boss Debby! She just started rowing this morning. Hope there's room in your pond for a new friend!
