WOD peeps!

Post by gypsydc » February 29th, 2024, 2:39 pm

Hi, new to the forum. Wondering who here does the WOD now and again? I've been logging on, looking at the honor board for my age group (50-54)...of course the Aussies have it done by the time I get to it in CST ;-) Nicolle Kelly is often in the first spot (idk this woman but would love to meet her) and while I can't quite seem to make her times, I get a good idea of where I need to be for top 3 or 5 in our age group. Anyway, curious who else does this and would love to get a thread going where we can chat about our WOD.

Was on the struggle bus with today's row especially in the 3rd rep (1k) and straight up stopped rowing for about 10 seconds. Definitely a good one.

How did yours go?

I do it most days, at low rates (av 21), low work per stroke (6W') and <1k warmup.

So far 2024, 38 days and 125km.

Overall the work is similar to rowing: short, brisk, effective.
08-1940, 183cm, 83kg.
2024: stroke 5.5W-min@20-21. ½k 190W, 1k 145W, 2k 120W. Using Wods 4-5days/week. Fading fast.
