Got back home yesterday and got back on my erg this morning. Did my usual 20 min (3K+)

Need to get a 2nd session in later today.

Great job to all of those who have already working!

My C2 finally arrived, I've just completed my first 30 minutes. I'm so unfit, but I'm really pleased that I've made a start :)

Thanks, @DavidA, I don't think I've really reached the enjoyment level yet :)

I've knocked 1 hour off my January challenge, just 14 more to go!

Good news ornatewobbegong! Start where you are. Glad you made a start too! An hour already is great. BTW, it looks like Lindsay gave you some really good starting points. Be patient, too. Injury-free is the first goal so we can keep this craziness going! :D

I added 70 minutes today.

Do I have to have a bikeerg to count bike hours - I use a real bike ? And does time OTW count too?

Having reviewed the fine print I think the answer is capital N capital O

officially - nope.
unofficially - personally an hour of training is an hour of training.

Thanks for the advice Lindsayh I've been reading up and watching videos to help get me started :D

So far I've done 3 sessions on my erg. I'm so glad I invested in one, being able to exercise at home is a real motivator for me. I managed 55 minutes in one sitting yesterday so I was very pleased with that. I'm confident I'll complete The Haul challenge by the end of the month.

I've been really trying to eat healthily too which means I've even dropped a few pounds. I hope I can keep up the momentum moving forward. I've got a long way to go

start of my training plan, an adapted eddie fletcher marathon plan.
heart rate capped is the name of the game
this was a 3x30min R3mins with a HR cap of 148 and a rate cap of R20.
basically pull R20 2:00 untill you hit the cap then reduce power to keep within 1-2 beats..

Great work everyone!

I decided to change my individual challenge from The Haul (15 hours) to The Stretch (20 days). A bit disappointing, but I've been working extra hours including last weekend and just haven't managed to put in a second session when I get home.

Still, my pace has improved some, and my waist has declined some, so I'm happy.

That's not disappointing at all Sharky! As a complete novice, I'm struggling with "The Haul" I've only done 5 hours so far, so I've got a long way to go :| I was trying to do two sessions per day, turns out I can only manage one right now

I can't wait for my waist to decline :)
