Hi Everyone! Its been a while!

OK I am guilty for not having been back here since the big board crash/virus at the beginning of the year. A lot has happened since then so I wanted to check back in!!!

Back at the beginning of the year we were doing a weightloss challenge. I was somewhat discouraged at the time but decided to stay focused. Over the last 9 months I managed to drop allmost 25 lbs and last Saturday weighed in at 138--only 3 lbs shy of my college days lightweight status!!!! the secret to my success---last Sunday I ran my first marathon--all 26.2 miles!!! While my training kept me off my Erg except on cross training days--- I did manage to get my lifetime meters to over 750k (I only started erging regularly in December during the holiday challenge last year). Now that the marathon is behind me and the cold weather is upon me--I see that first Million as my next big goal. And I hope to start checking back in here more regularly for your wonderful support. LTW here I come!!!

And...how did it go?

tigger2, congratulations on your great achievement. Please post an update - did you make lightweight? Did you finish your first million metres?
