I need to know how to tell as well. I'm pretty sure it isn't taken, but you never know :) There's a slight story behind it as well and there's a possibility that someone else knows the story and has used the name.

Thanks!

There isn't a list of people and their duck names.
Pick what you like. My ducky name is Wood Duck. If someone wanted that name too we could be Wood Duck 1 and Wood Duck 2 or Sr. or Jr. or alpha and beta... the possibilities are endless!

We used to have an "introduce yourself" thread on the old forum. Reading that is how I got to know others. I tried to access the old forum but it was locked.

Let's start that thread again! Then the people who have been around for awhile and those who are new can all get to know each other.

You can read the duck member's profiles in the C2 logbook.

I just went to that link and read about several people who have joined the ducks since I last read everyone's profile. Welcome!

Many of us also have our picture posted (instructions are at the bottom of the profile page.)

thanks!

I like it too... nice way to see that I'm making some progress! I have a copy of the very first one on my desktop at home (I'm currently working) and like to compare it every couple of days :)

I represent the longer-legged water fowl-- but no quacking for me, either figuratively or professionally. Storkdr has been on my car license plate ever since I started my OB/Gyn residency several years ago, so it was an automatic choice for the forum.

I'm glad to see lots of health professionals involved in doing and talking about regular exercise. In the rural area where I practice, I'm considered somewhat odd when I run around town. It's probably a good thing that I row in the privacy of my bedroom!
