We are at the Slickrock campground in Moab for another week, if you are an erger and live nearby drop me a personal message and say hi.
If you would like to check out our 'blog' webpage of our trip so far, go to www(dot)lowtechwebs(dot)com/southwest.
Moab is a macho town. In a couple of days the 40th Anniversary Jeep Rally folks will be here. They tend to take over the whole town, so it should be interesting. I've been erging at the campground, but no-one has come by to ask about this particular form of cross-training for climbing or mountain biking.
The scenery is absolutely fantastic, as is the hiking. I'm a 'city cyclist' due to having bad knees, so I have to rely on my husband's reports of off-road riding.

Grams,
It is so good to hear from you! I bet it is wonderful. Hard to believe no one has stopped by to ask about what you are doing on that rail! Maybe everyone is sophisticated out there. But the desert is pretty far from water!
