Does anybody know how to calculate WW "activity" points/1K of rowing at approx 2:35/500m?

It comes out at about 640 calories/hour for 5mins 10. That's 94 watts. So, if I've done the maths right, that's 55.1 calories for your complete session.

The details of the maths is documented here: http://www.atm.ox.ac.uk/rowing/physics/ ... #section11

Most folks don't work with calories or watts, we tend stick exclusively to pace for 500m, stroke rate and duration.

WW should have a calculator to turn that number into their points. Concept2 has http://www.concept2.com/us/interactive/ ... alorie.asp

The PM3/PM4 gives you a caloric value for your workout in the data on your logcard or in the PM3/4 memory.

You get 300cal/hr for free.

I divide the total calories earned (not the calories/hr) by 75 to obtain the number of points. It's close enough.
