Footplates/boats for rowers

Hi, everyone,
I've been using my Concept2 Model D for 15 years now. I love it, and I can't say enough wonderful things about it. Recently, I also joined Dark Horse Rowing and actually started using the logbook (odd at 15 years), and my love of the sport has grown even more.
While I can row arms, trunk, legs, because of spastic displegia in my lower legs/feet, power from my legs is something I really need to focus on when erging, but it has the added benefit of helping me strengthen my legs.
Since 2010, I've wanted to learn how to row on the water. From my initial attempts, the regular foot plates are not compatible. They are essentially too narrow to accommodate the natural shape of my feet and even strapping into them, I'm prevented from bending or easily returning to the Catch position.
I wanted to know if someone here would know of foot plate options to accommodate my needs, as it appears I would need a foot plate to a similar length/design as on the C2 Model D.
Many thanks,
DW
