My bike has a very minor catching feel in the left pedal when working out. It does not do it every time . It minor but annoying. I’m wondering if it’s me pedaling harder on the right causing the sprocket to out spin/pedal the left pedal. Then the left pedal re-engaging. Has anyone else had this experience? The bike is still very usable and this is minor.

It could be an uneven pedal stroke. I put clipless pedals on mine so I can use my cycling shoes. That smooths out the stroke and makes it more efficient (I can apply power for the entire stroke, not just the downstroke).

I kinda thought it might be my pedal stroke. It is strange, I don’t seem to notice it as much if I sit straight up on the seat, opposed to leaning forward and grabbing the handlebars. I know that sounds weird. It also doesn’t happen all the time but when it does, it happens on any of the resistance settings. It is just more of a little annoyance than anything else. I was thinking of taking off the left pedal and asking the manufacture what kind of grease they use. Then repacking the pedal and putting it back on.
