Moving the seat forward

I'm trying to set up my bikeerg to match the geometry of my triathlon bike. I am using a seat identical to the one I have on my tri bike. When I have the seat all the way forward on my BikeErg, it's still a couple inches behind my seat on my tri bike (relative to the center of the pedals).

Does anyone know of any modifications or aftermarket parts that can be used to move the seat farther forward on the BikeErg?

Thank you.

If you haven't already done so, think your best bet is to call C2 and see what they say.

Before I posted to the forum, I messaged C2. They said "Unfortunately, we don't have any information on a saddle or post combination that would allow the seat to adjust further forward."

That stinks.

The STA on your triathlon bike must be significantly steeper than the BikeErg's. Even if you tried a different saddle with longer rails, that would almost certainly not buy you enough.

Good Luck

You could elevate the back of the BikeErg, assuming the handlebar adjustment was sufficent for your comfort.

You can adjust the seat angle to keep it level (or however you like it).

There is a pin on the handlebar whose purpose is to prevent you from rotating it, but you could cut/file that pin off, if the orientation of the drops became an issue.

Maybe get a workshop to knock up a couple of rails welded together. It would be pretty quick for someone to do so shouldn't cost too much.
