Storage space needed for BikeErg

I'm looking to buy a BikeErg but will need to store it under the stairs (in a cupboard) whilst not in use. I have studied the dimensions and it WILL fit, but it's a tight space and wonder if I'll be able to manoeuvre it in. I know it's on wheels, but just how manouverable is the bike? Would a Rower be better considering my storage issue? (I've asked a similar question in the Rower forum too!)

Thanks in advance for any helpful insights.

You need to tilt it up a bit at the back to engage the wheels. This tilts the handlebars forward a few inches, thus increasing the overall length a bit. It does not increase the effective height, because the saddle is lower than the bars. So you should be able to wheel it handlebar-first into your space, provided you have the height. If you need to back it in, that'll be more awkward. It isn't that heavy though, especially at the bak, so you could probably slide it in on a piece of cardboard or carpet.

Rower is much longer, even when you break it in half.

Know nothing about the bike, but if you break the rower in half, you can stand up both pieces and they need only small area of the floor. Only hight will be more, when placed upright.
