PM5 firmware update

Hi all, just got a C2 bike erg and likely a dumb question, but how do you update the firmware? Are you not able to do it via BT and your phone? You have to have a USB stick or connection? Thanks

Download the Concept2 Utility to your computer, use a usb drive to get a copy of the latest firmware update using the utility, insert the usb drive into the back of the PM5, and follow the prompts.
The ability to update using ergdata on your phone via bluetooth is supposed to be an upcoming feature.

Why not just connect the PM5 with a USB-A to USB-B cable (standard printer cable)?

That works too. You've got to have your computer in the same room as your erg--mine normally isn't. It's easier to pop a usb drive into my pocket than carry my laptop from room to room.
