Hi All,

How do those of you that use zwift connect a heart rate monitor? Do you connect it to the bikeerg, the companion app, or the computer? (I connect to the app from the bike).

I connect it to Zwift on PC. Companion app is just for ride ons.

Ok, that's interesting, thanks. I've not got zwift to work directly connecting the bikeerg to my computer, hence the app. I think it's the rubbish Bluetooth connection my laptop has.

Maybe, yeah. My PM5 is pretty quickly found and paired as a power meter in Zwift.
Do you also open up the Connect menu in PM5 before pairing?

If you have a HRM that supports Bluetooth and Ant+, then its possible to connect the HRM to the laptop via Bluetooth for Zwift and to the PM5 via Ant at the same time. That's what I have done in the past with my Polar OH1, although this is with the row-erg rather than bike-erg.

Thanks all. I finally got it working today.

For me, the solution was to use the companion app to connect to the bikeerg, and connect my hr monitor to the pc only. It is a bit temperamental and I cannot reconnect consistently if it loses signal, but did work for a whole session.
