Has anyone successfully linked the Bikeerg with their Garmin watch for the indoor bike activity?

I have the Garmin Fenix 6 but I guess its similar for a number of different garmin watches. I just can't seem to consistently connect it easily and when I have managed to get a connection, the metrics are ridiculously wrong.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have the Forerunner 945 and have used it with the BikeErg since the BikeErg arrived in May 2020. I use the ErgIQ app on the Garmin, not the indoor cycling option. Works fine.
